I m using U Talk to brush up some Russian. Do not expect to learn challenging sentences or to learn any grammar - mainly you ll learn words, which is fine with me.
Associating a picture with a word makes it quite easy. The pronunciation is faultless (said my Russian teacher), you hear a man s and a woman s voice. What I do not like: I can t switch off the transliteration. But the really negative point is that there are some nasty, sloppy mistakes! Hope someone will correct them soon, otherwise the App is not worth the money.
